The concept I found interesting and wanted to talk about was the retreat from intimacy. Reading this and applying it to my life made perfect sense but its something you really dont think about it, but its a big part of our interaction with one another in a relationship. When everything is going smooth and everything relationship wise is building up we only look at the positives and the negatives take a back seat. This I believe makes relationships weaker because when the negatives do surface ithey are at bad times and become more powerful. But again these things are not seen when life is good and the bad things about life come out at the bad times.
